Workshop Empowers Entrepreneurs in Gaborone: CoinSchool Delivers Real-World Business Skills
CoinSchool International recently hosted a hands-on workshop aimed at helping local entrepreneurs and professionals gain practical sales and marketing skills. The full-day event, held in Gaborone, brought together participants from diverse backgrounds who were eager to improve how they sell, promote, and grow their businesses.
The workshop began with a session led by a trainer from CoinSchool International. Attendees learned core sales strategies, including how to understand customer needs, communicate clearly, and close sales with confidence. In addition, they explored how to handle objections and build trust with potential clients.
After the sales session, the focus shifted to marketing. The trainer introduced key concepts such as crafting a strong brand message, identifying a target audience, and using digital platforms like Facebook and WhatsApp to reach more customers. Importantly, these lessons were designed with small business owners in mind—making them simple, affordable, and easy to apply.
What made this workshop unique was its strong focus on practice, not just theory. Participants worked on real-life examples, joined group activities, and took part in role-playing exercises. These activities helped bring the lessons to life and encouraged everyone to think creatively.
One of the highlights of the day was the live on-field training and assessment. CoinSchool partnered with Dumela Bots Innovations (PTY) LTD to provide participants with real business materials and scenarios. This hands-on task allowed them to apply what they had learned and receive immediate feedback from trainers.
